Can You Get West Nile Virus From Deer Meat?

There have been reports of the West Nile Virus in bird blood and in bird feces, but we have seen no reports of the virus appearing in deer. From a health standpoint, the normal precautions of gloves in field dressing and processing deer should take care of that concern.

Is CWD A Problem With Deer Hides?

Questions have arisen regarding any effect Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) may have on deer hides.
