| A
survey on food defense preparedness among meat and poultry
establishments is being conducted by Kansas State University,
in cooperation with NAMP, AAMP, and AMI. The University
is asking for employees of large, small, and very small
meat and poultry processing establishments who are involved
with, or responsible for, food defense preparedness activities
to participate.
The
purpose of the survey is to better understand the needs
of processors in setting up and operating food defense (security)
programs, and develop effective training materials and other
tools based on the responses. Participation is voluntary
and all responses are strictly confidential. The results
will only be compiled in summary form by respondent groups,
meaning information from individual facilities will not
be examined.
The
survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Thank you
in advance for your interest and participation. The
survey is available until February 29, 2008. Click
