Turkey Federation Launches Online Thanksgiving Guide

The National Turkey Federation is offering holiday hosts and hostesses menu inspiration and advice through its "2004 How-To Guide for Thanksgiving," available via the NTF Web site.

Launched Tuesday, the guide provides tips from purchasing to preparation to recipes for leftovers. Inexperienced chefs can find step-by-step information on preparing the traditional Thanksgiving feast, while gourmets can venture further into rubs and marinades or regional recipes like Southwestern Turkey with Chilaca Chiles Paste and Louisiana Fried Turkey Breast.

Beyond the bird, there are dressings and stuffing, gravies, side dishes, desserts and leftovers. The guide addresses all of these topics with tips for success, food safety and storage recommendations and a broad range of recipes.
