USDA filed a motion with an appeals court requesting that
the re-instituted lawsuit by Ranchers-Cattlemen Action Legal
Fund concerning the rule that reopened the border to live
Canadian cattle be dismissed.
USDA argued that all the issues have already been argued
and rejected by the appeals court.
R-CALF has contended that very few issues were even brought
up in the original action, in which the Ninth Circuit Court
of Appeals ruled against the ranchers group and allowed
the border to reopen.
