This is a fully functional, operating, federally inspected packing plant for sale with the grant of inspection for the slaughter and processing of cattle, hogs, lambs, and goats. This plant is a two-story cement block construction building that has been used as a USDA packing plant since the 1970s. The plant has an approximately 3,800 square foot production area with a kill floor, two coolers, two fabrication rooms, a small kitchen, and a freezer. Attached to kill floor is the 1,800 square foot covered barn housing 10 animal pens with truck dock and animal unloading ramp. The second story of the production facility is used for storage and office space. The total gross area of the building is 6,810 square feet. The owner will offer both training and support with five existing HACCP plans and help create new HACCP plans for the buyer, if necessary. This is a USDA inspected plant that comes with all the appropriate equipment for the meat business.     Great potential for growth. The plant has been used for lamb, but was built for and used previously for beef and hogs. Processing of multiple species would enhance the profitability of the plant especially with the use of home delivery.

    The owner will offer both training and support in all facets of USDA meat production, including slaughter, packing, and cooking.
