Processing Technician
Packages, weighs, and labels all meat products produced in facility. Operates and maintains processing and packaging equipment. Produces inventory reports of packaged products. Further packages product for storage. Stores finished product. Responsible for end of day sanitation of processing room and equipment. Follows facility sanitary operating procedures and performs the packaging and storing of meat products within the guidelines spelled out in the facility's Hazard Analysis/Critical Control Points Plan. Assists butchers with production as needed and upon availability. Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds. |
